LUMA is located in central Bath, UK, 5 minute walk from the train station. The full address is 14 Ferry Court, Ferry Lane, Bath, BA2 4JW

Climbing on the Adjustable TB2:

•⁠ ⁠Maximum 6 climbers per session

•⁠ ⁠We expect the board angle will progressively increase throughout each session

•⁠ ⁠Sessions begin with a warm-up on lower angles

•⁠ ⁠By session's end, expect the board to be set between 30-50 degrees

•⁠ ⁠If you're the only person in the gym, you have full control over the board's angle

Facilities:

•⁠ ⁠A dedicated training area is available for warming up including hangboards, micros, weights and other climbing tools such as pinch and crimp blocks

•⁠ ⁠Please keep all equipment within the training area

•⁠ ⁠Complimentary coffee is available on tap - help yourself!

Safety & Guidelines:

•⁠ ⁠Always follow the posted signage throughout the gym

•⁠ ⁠We strongly recommend reading all signage during your first visit

•⁠ ⁠For any issues or questions, scan the QR codes or call the phone numbers displayed around the gym

•⁠ ⁠Do not let unauthorised visitors into the facility - this is monitored by CCTV and violations will result in suspension

After you book a session, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code. Present this QR code to the access control system at the front of the facility which will then unlock the door.

7.⁠ ⁠PRESS ‘TENSION BOARD’, BLUETOOTH REQUIRED

For one off’s each session will be 60 minutes plus 15 minutes before and after the slot, giving you a total of 90 minutes which you can use as you wish. You’ll be able to reserve and book a slot through the website, you can book more than 1 slot, so you can climb consecutively for multiple hours. To gain entry you will get a QR code to scan on the door to gain entry.

For members the slots are there to add a soft limit to the number of people in the facility at one time, so we ask you to just book out multiple slots.

If you turn up over 45 minutes late to your slot, you will be denied entry.

Yes! We are focused on intermediate to advanced climbing. We don’t currently provide rental shoes.

Rental shoes are in the process of being added to LUMA. Expected time frame for availability is the end of June.

We want to be as inclusive as possible, but a training facility has it’s differences to a bouldering gym. For this reason only those who are 16+, unless supervised and verified as a youth climber with experience.

The facility is designed for intermediate to advanced climbers, and you must have climbed at least 5x before climbing at LUMA.

Yes! Only kids that have a proven record of previous climbing, show a level of competency and have supervision will be allowed into the training facility.

We have a specific waiver process through our sign up process, which will ask for a youths climbing competency level. You will only need to do this once.

Yes! We have an ipad in the corner of the room, please feel free to play your favourite tunes.

To cancel your membership, simply log in to your account, click on Passes & Subscriptions, then press active subscription, press on the 3 dots and click cancel subscription.
